ACADEMIC ENGLISH
Academic English is typically thought of as a more formal, sophisticated style of English that delivers information precisely and objectively. It is widely accepted that it includes the basic abilities of literary analysis, adherence to reference systems, synthesis of related academics, and critical assessment ability. n academic discourse and literature, essential academic terminology, phrases, and grammatical complexity are often employed. Academic English, in particular, refers to phrases and practices that are not always widespread or commonly heard in casual discourse.

This module helps in reading, speaking, and listening, as well as assessing and honing my research and writing abilities for use in a college or university setting. The necessity for us to focus on language, especially the specialized language found both in substance areas and the Academic Language utilized in teaching that content, is growing at the college and university level.
